I've been listening to Shoutcast stations lately and I don't think I've ever posted this link before, you need a winamp to listen...it's a pretty cool site for streaming radio, the feeds seem to sound better than similiar Realplayer and Mediaplayer sites and if you have the bandwidth, you can even add your own station and stream your existing mp3 playlist over the web for others to hear. Winamp is the best thing ever :)

It's late, late, late and as usual I'm completely unable to sleep...I don't really have anything particular in mind to post, I'm just bored and insomnia-ridden. I can never seem to sleep unless I'm just so exhausted I can't keep my eyes open. I should be working on a decent template for this thing as I'd like to upgrade to Blogger Pro sometime...my hard drive is full of crap though and I don't have many disks with which to burn all my mp3s and such so I don't even have room to install Photoshop, really, so I guess I'll just post a few random amusing/weird/interesting links if I can find any before I get too sleepy to go on blogging.

Well, it looks like Kimble (AKA Kim Schmitz) has a heap of trouble on his hands...the famous hacker, who's website, Kimble.org detailed his exploits and fast living, was deported from Thailand and faces insider trading charges in his homeland of Germany. A supposed invitation for surfers to view his suicide live on his website turned out to be a hoax and his page invites viewers to email him "in prison". You may remember Kimble as the German hacker icon who offered ten million dollars for anyone who could come up with Osama Bin Laden. Looks like he's gone for awhile now.

Well, looks like I couldn't have been more wrong, regarding the score of the Superbowl...at least it was a good game for a change, hats off to the Patriots. Had fun watchin' Paul McCartney rap with the FOX pigskin crew too. I was kind of hoping he'd rag on Terry Bradshaw's hair, or lack thereof, but alas.

Well folks...tomorrow is, of course, Superbowl Sunday. I guess there's not much to say about the actual game itself, oddsmakers are picking St. Louis of course, with the predicted score being something along the lines of Rams 986 Patriots 7, so there's not much left to look forward to but the commercials and the overblown halftime extravaganza. Now I'd heard that Paul McCartney was going to perform at halftime but it appears they've nixed that and gone with U2.

I've been listening to Prince for a lotta years, I guess 'round about the time he came out with "Little Red Corvette"...he's had his ups and downs, trouble with the record company folk, bouts of weirdness, etc....but I must say, he's back in fine form with this last album, "The Rainbow Children". I've been listening to tracks off it today and it rocks. For sheer productivity and output, you just can't beat the Purple One...he probably has more good tracks he's forgotten about gathering dust in a vault somewhere than most acts today will ever lay down in their entire careers.
